5 leaves of kale, stems removed
1 cup brussels sprouts, thinly shaved or sliced
1 apple thinly sliced
Nuts, of your choice
1 lemon
Olive oil
Pitch of salt
Instructions
Lay kale leaves on top of one another and roll up. Then using your knife, thinly slice and place in a large bowl.
Using your hands massage the kale until it begins to wilt, takes about a minute or two.
Toss with shaved brussels sprouts, apple, the juice of the lemon, olive oil (eyeball until it feels “dressed” enough for your liking) and season with salt.
Taste test for extra measuring, adding more lemon juice, olive oil or salt as needed.
